The 9th Annual "Scramble for Scholarships" golf event.
The 9th annual “Scramble for Scholarships” golf event is being held on Thursday, May 21st.
Over 300 applications have been received and more than 100 scholarship awards are expected to be made to Western Washington LDS college students attending many different colleges and universities. You are invited to donate to LDS Scholarships or play in the golf event which is the primary fundraiser for this fund.
Registration is first-come-first-served, and after the sponsors, there are only 10 foursome spots available so please register as soon as possible if you are interested in playing. As with years past, we only accept registration in foursomes. There are two sponsorships available, and sponsors receive preference. If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact Troy Romero. Play will again be at the acclaimed Golf Course at Redmond Ridge1 (www.redmondridgegolf.com).
In addition to the prizes and awards for closest to the pin, longest drives, and holes-in-one, each player will receive a certificate at registration that can be spent in the on-site Adidas-TaylorMade product tent for golf merchandise at a 30% off retail pricing. A full catalog will be sent to those who register so if you want to make 2009 the year you get a new set of TaylorMade clubs you can order them ahead and receive a 30% discount in addition to using your certificate.
Back again is the steak & chicken feast hosted by Outback, a multitude of prizes including a Harley Davidson motorcycle, $25,000, electronics, a TaylorMade driver, and a number of other prizes.
Tee-off is at 12:15, with registration open at 10:00 am. The event will conclude prior to 6 p.m.
